“ We are a bit of snobs when it comes to pizza as we were born and raised in NYC. It's very hard to find pizza in South Jersey that comes close to that and we have tried MANY places. Tiga's was an ABSOLUTE pleasant surprise. We ordered the grandma pie (DELICIOUS) with its delicious crust and tasty combination of sauce and cheese. We also ordered a regular pie that was extremely good. We decided to try Tiga's (based on a possible rumor that they use NY water to make their dough) and boy did they not disappoint. Drove 20 min to get this tastiness and we were VERY satisfied. Absolute redo in the future. This is a great pizza place and the owner should be very proud of their product. Great job. Loved it. “ Tigas is a hidden gem. We decided to stop there on our way back from LBI since our regular return stop, Tarantella's, only served dinner on Sunday. As a foodie on a binge, I needed to research an alternative. Their rating, descriptions, and menu choice made it clear that this was a special place and it is. Well worth stopping at if you're heading to or through the Medford area. Well worth the extra minutes. The quality of their ingredients really shows. I had a pulled pork, broccoli rabe, and provolone sandwich that was one of the best sandwiches I had ever eaten. The arancino was really good and well made, you can taste the quality tomatoes, in their sauce. They bake their own bread which made a difference. The owner makes sure you are well taken care of demonstrating the pride he has in his service and the food they make. My wife had the kale salad. It was very good and ample. The downside, with any fresh Kale dish, is how tough it is to chew. The Kale should be cut into smaller pieces and some other technique to make it easier to chew fresh. Delicious food, a friendly vibe, proud owner make this a great place. Didn't have the pizza, but it looked and smelled great. We will be back. ”
